The boat was delivered from Brødrene Aa AS in Hyen Norway. This is build no. 242 from the yard and the third time they have delivered a boat to Smøla Municipality. The vessel is the third ambulance vessel built according to the new vacuum injected carbon sandwich construction method. The vessel will fulfill a demanding and important function in the healthcare system in the so-called HAST municipalities (Halsa, Aure, Smøla, Tustna).
