1990 Olympic Sea 42, based on the Jeanneau Sun Legend 41 and built by Olympic marine in Greece under the license of Jeanneau, this yacht is well suited to cruising under the Mediterranean sun. In the possession of its current owners since 2001, this boat has cruised the Aegean Sea extensively, demonstrating her capabilities as a seaworthy cruiser.
In this time she has been well equipped for the job with a Garmin 128 GPS, Raymarine autohelm evolution system, a Lofrans electric windlass with remote along with an engine replacement in 2010. Her Max Power bow thruster also makes manoeuvring around an anchorage or marina a breeze.
Her spacious accommodation, berthing comfortably up to 8, means there’s plenty of space for friends and family to come aboard. Enhanced by her timeless keyhole bulkhead design and new upholstery replaced in 2022, her interior becomes an ideal place for relaxation after day of exploring.
Her 3 solar panels and Rutland wind generator means this exploring can continue on uninterrupted, reducing your need for shore power. She also underwent a total re-wiring in 2022, helping to ensure the reliability of all the electrical systems.
“Sun of Legende” is a well proven and seaworthy Mediterranean cruiser, perfect for those looking to set sail in the Med with friends and family. Currently lying in Agioi Theodoroi, Greece ready for viewing.
