The family yacht is built in Netherlands. Scheepswerf Gielen is a shipbuilding company based in the Netherlands. Founded by Jan and Gerrit Gielen, it has been operating since 1856. The company specializes in building inland vessels such as barges, tugs and dredgers for commercial use on rivers throughout Europe. Scheepswerf also builds custom-made pleasure crafts including sailing yachts, motorboats of all sizes up to 70 feet long and steel cabin cruisers with luxury interiors like mahogany paneling or teak decks etc.. Its facility includes its own slipway which can accommodate boats up to 120 tons displacement weight while their workshop offers complete service from design through build to finishing work such painting & varnishing services –

Bathroom at the aft cabin and a toilet and shower as well forward (this is siuated just outside the forward cabin.

It is possible to lay down the table at pantry to make a bed there and it is possible to sleep for two persons.

Plenty of storage space. Seperate locker / "laundry room" where the freezer and washing machine is situated. This was originally a cabin, but beds are removed from early stage.

Construction

The Gielen Yacht Steelboat is a classic vessel constructed in the Netherlands, built to last. Built back in 1997, this boat has been carefully maintained and upgraded over the years with new technology such as navigation systems and other modern amenities while still paying homage to her past. The original design elements are all present including an open bow cockpit for easy access from stern-to-bow traffic patterns along with plenty of space for equipment storage underneath. Her unique steel hull construction provides superior durability both above waterline and below deck aiding stability during rough seas or heavy weather conditions making it ideal for long distance cruising purposes if desired by its owner(s). The engine is from 2001 as a previous owner replaced a smaller engine with a bigger one after a few years.

The Perkins M225Ti is a marine diesel engine designed for use in pleasure boats, commercial vessels and workboats. It has an inline 6-cylinder configuration with 4 valves per cylinder and turbocharged aftercooling to provide efficient power output at lower fuel consumption rates than similar engines of its size. The motor delivers 225 horsepower (hp) at 2600 rpm, along with 590 Nm torque from 1600rpm up to 2400rpm.
